The 2022 UP ICE Recognition Rites was held on 05 August 2022 at the University Theater, UP Diliman. This was our first in-person recognition rites since the start of the pandemic. This event recognized and celebrated the accomplishments of our BS CE, MS CE, and PhD CE graduates for the past academic year. Atty. Maria Leonor Gerona Robredo, former Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, our guest of honor, delivered an inspiring message to the graduates. Mr. Andrew Aren Ong, UP ICE Class of 2022 valedictorian, gave the response message on behalf of the graduating class.
This event also recognized the graduating class of both the 4-year and 5-year BS CE Curriculum of UP Diliman. The event was also special because we celebrated the graduation of our two PhD graduates, Dr. Marie Wendy Frany and Dr. John Arvin Manaloto. This batch also produced 9 summa cum laude graduates!
Congratulations to the BSCE, MSCE, PhDCE Class of 2022! The Institute is so proud of all of you!
