Asst. Prof. Richmark Macuha recently published his research paper titled “Evaluating the Physical Vulnerability of Public School Buildings against Flooding in Metro Manila, Philippines” in the ASEAN Engineering Journal (AEJ): Vol. 13, No. 2 June 2023 issue.
The paper discusses the vulnerable elements or attributes, the extent of damages incurred during flood events, the damage response, and the future steps that must be taken to increase flood resiliency. This study is an attempt to promote further research on vulnerability analysis in developing countries towards flood resiliency in the built environment.
