The Philippine Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (PSSMGE), in partnership with UP ICE, yearly holds an Honor Lecture in celebration of the birthday of Dr. Salvador F. Reyes, a retired professor of Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines and foremost geotechnical engineering consultant in the country.
