UP ICE warmly welcomes our ten Teaching Associates (TAs) this semester who will assist in providing quality education to our undergraduate students.
A hybrid meeting was conducted on Sep 7, 2022 at the UP ICE building to orient our TAs on UP Academic Policies, their roles and responsibilities, and appointment and salary processes. The meeting also served as opportunity to meet their faculty members-in-charge/teaching mentors.
The UP Teaching Assistantship (Teaching Fellows and Teaching Associates) Program aims to give graduate students (MS and PhD) the opportunity to share their knowledge and skills through teaching even while they are studying. It also aims to ease the process of hiring staff who can teach or assist in teaching (lecture and laboratory courses).
