UP ICE proudly congratulates Dr. Ma. Doreen Candelaria for successfully obtaining her PhD in Architectural Engineering degree from Dong-A University, Busan, South Korea!
She worked on her dissertation “Evaluation of Thermal Damages of Concrete Subjected to High Temperatures Using ML and RNN for Ultrasonic Pulse Waves” at the Advanced Multiphysics Structural Condition Evaluation Lab, Dong-A University.
Dr. Candelaria is a recipient of the DOST Engineering Research and Development for Technology (ERDT) PhD foreign scholarship. She has returned to active service in UP ICE in August 2023. She is currently an Assistant Professor and head of our Construction Engineering and Management Group (CEMG).
