The faculty and staff members of UP ICE conducted a hybrid workshop to discuss policies and facilities preparation for face-to-face activities for Second Semester, AY 2022-2023. This was held on November 21, 2022 at the University Hotel.
In the morning session, the Teaching and Learning Management Committee (TLMC aka F2F Committee) presented draft policies and the preparation of facilities for the Second Semester where F2F classes are expected to be held. In the workshop, the breakout groups reviewed and revised policies assigned to them and the recommendations were presented in plenary to get more inputs and insights from the participants.
The Course Programming Committee (CPC) presented their draft plan for course offerings in the afternoon workshop session. The workshop involved review, discussion and validation of course delivery plans for Second Semester course offerings according to the models recommended by the University. The results were also presented by each breakout group in plenary.
The outcomes of the workshop sessions will be used to further refine the draft policies and course delivery plans of UP ICE, which the two committees are currently working on in coordination with the six academic groups. The F2F policies and plans of each course are expected to be finalized this December – subject to the latest policies of the University.
The workshop was organized by the UP ICE Faculty Events Committee, Teaching and Learning Management Committee and Course Programming Committee.
