Environmental and Energy Engineering Laboratory
The Environmental and Energy Engineering Laboratory or EEEG Lab of the Institute of Civil Engineering serves as the venue for conducting high-impact environmental and energy engineering research. The laboratory is currently in the L3 Building of the Institute of Civil Engineering Compound where it shares the building with the Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory.
The EEEG Lab houses equipment for adsorption studies, analysis of water and wastewater physical and chemical characteristics, heavy metal analysis in water and soil, solid waste analysis, contaminant transport, and soil-gas analysis among others. In addition, the laboratory also has several field equipment for water quality and soil/sediment sampling and analysis.
