On this day 15 years ago, the UP Institute of Civil Engineering was established upon the approval by the UP Board of Regents transforming the then Department of Civil Engineering (founded in 1910). It is the oldest and one of the largest academic units of the UPD College of Engineering.
Since then, we have produced thousands of civil engineers who have been making their own marks in the industry, academe, government, and business. UP ICE is committed to uphold the values of UP, honor and excellence while serving the nation.
Guided by our vision, we strive to nurture a culture of integrity, relevance, and excellence in civil engineering, and to synergize with interrelated institutions through instruction, research and extension service.
